Rather than becoming distracted from our core mission by expensive technologies that add little value, we strive to master the fundamentals of field-based “muddy boots” plant breeding and good seed stewardship. Our R&D team’s strategy is to understand our markets and customers and to make steady progress in our breeding programs by selecting uncompromisingly for quality, disease resistance, and marketable yield. We aim to practice good seed stewardship to ensure reliable, consistent production of high quality seeds offered to our retail partners at a reasonable price. We believe that combining these efforts with good customer service is a winning strategy.
